January is a difficult time of year for many people, who suffer from financial hardship following the Christmas season.
We pray that people are met in their need, and for the resolution of hope in the New Year. Over the last year, we have received an encouraging response from churches and donors who have registered for the Parish Giving Scheme.
This scheme can be easily used by anyone with access to the internet and will bring your parish up-to-date. It is very simple, working on a direct-debit system, which in turn will help your Parish Treasurer with your accounts.
Recently, a Quick Response (QR) code has been released across the Diocese, enabling people to give immediately using their smartphones. For more information, please access Parish Buying, or contact our Stewardship Officer, Alison Maddocks, on AMaddocks@cofe-worcester.org.uk.
We give thanks for the generosity of the people in our parishes, who through their giving enable ministry to take place across our diocese. We also pray for people to sign up to the Parish Giving Scheme as donors, to support their parish simply and generously.
