Schools are a vital part of the diocesan mission in Peru. Pray for the Director of
Schools, Ricardo Vergara; the headteachers, staff and pupils of the Anglican schools.
Pray particularly for San Mateo School in Lima, damaged by torrential summer rain this
year, which will need vast repair work on classrooms, and for St Mark’s, the new school
in Arequipa, in its first year.

‘One’ is an evangelistic youth event at Great
Malvern Priory, supported by ‘Malvern Youth
Link’ – an ecumenical gathering of local youth
groups and youth ministers. It follows a week
of ‘Spring into Life’ mission at local secondary
schools and aims to be a great celebration
of ‘life in all its fullness’ that only Jesus can
truly bring.
During the afternoon, leading up to ‘One’,
a ‘Family Fun Day’ in the Priory grounds
will also showcase some great community
groups as well as offering a whole host of
activities such as a bouncy castle, skate
ramps and archery. ‘One’ begins at 7pm with
games, a DJ, worship and our guest speaker,
Phil Knox’ from Youth for Christ.
This event is open to youth groups across
the Diocese.
Please pray that many young people will be encouraged, challenged and respond to
the call of Jesus on their lives through the mission and ‘One’ event this week.
