Malvern Priory Lunchbox The Priory has been the heart of the Malvern community for over 900 years. It has been a meeting place for the townspeople as well as a place of prayer. Lunch Box was set up over 20 years ago to encourage people in the town of Malvern to come in to the Priory during the week, to eat their sandwiches in the church during their lunch break plus having the focus of a short 30-minute talk or music. The audience is made of up of young and old – there is no charge and people come and meet up with friends or make new ones. They experience the peace and history of the Priory and have the chance to see the current Christian ministry of the church at work.
