Royal Three Counties Show

This weekend, thousands of visitors have been flocking to the Royal Three Counties

Show which takes place annually in Malvern. Over the weekend, many people will
have visited the Church Tent which always offers a place of peace, hospitality and fun
in what is always a lively event. Shared by the dioceses of Worcester, Hereford and
Gloucester, the tent maintains a visible Church presence at the show and engages in
outreach and mission.

This year, the theme of Peace is being explored, both in our prayers and in our
children’s and family’s activities. Musical entertainment has been provided throughout
the weekend, with many schools and community groups from the three dioceses taking
part. Our in-tent café is providing visitors with excellent bacon butties, drinks, paninis
and fabulous cakes. Those looking for space and reflection can find peace in our
well-stocked bookstall, which always offers all sorts of literary treats to purchase. Our
chaplaincy team have been on-hand throughout the weekend, offering a place to talk
inside the tent, as well as around the Showground.

The Church Tent is always a welcoming haven of peace in a busy and distracting world,
offering the opportunity for creativity, reflection, hospitality and fellowship all under one roof.

Please pray for all those visiting or working
at the Three Counties Show this weekend.
Please also pray that the Church Tent
reaches its aim in engaging in outreach and
mission, whilst welcoming and supporting
all those who enter.
