On Tuesday, people from across Worcester will be coming together as a ROC
Conversation is held in the city.
ROC stands for Redeeming Our Communities. A ROC conversation is a structured
community event which brings together local people to celebrate all the great
things happening in a community and explore practical ways of doing more. The
conversation event is open to anyone with a desire to positively impact their
community.
Holding a ROC conversation is a fantastic way to engage a whole range of different
people and community groups to improve our local area. It is not necessarily about
starting lots of new projects, but celebrating what is happening and work out how
these initiatives can be taken forward together to have maximum impact. We hope
that it will create a network of people who are passionate about improving our
community and will help develop different projects.
Please pray for all involved
in the ROC conversation in
Worcester, that it will be a
productive discussion and
that groups will be formed
as a result which will make
a real difference to those
most in need in the city.
