Pray for shop-workers who have been working hard and will be at work until close
of business on Christmas Eve. Pray too for those who will be back at work for the
sales from Boxing Day onwards. May they and their families find time to remember
and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas, and may we not be diverted by the
commercial focus.
