Pray for all our
churches across the Diocese as we face an Easter Sunday without being able to
meet together.
Pray especially for
all those who planned Easter events and services which needed to be postponed
and give thanks for the many different ways in which churches have reached out
to support their communities at this challenging time.
For all those who
feel anxious at this time and for all those who have caught coronavirus and are
seriously unwell, as well as those who are caring for them.Remember that we are called to believe in a
God whose love is stronger than death and whose perfect love casts our fear.
Lord of all life and power, who through the mighty
power of your Son overcame the old order of sin and death to make all things
new in Him: grant that we, being dead to sin and alive to you in Jesus Christ,
may reign with him in glory; to whom with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit
be praise and honour, glory and might, now and in all eternity. Amen
