It is almost two years since Peru was hit by a localised El Niño, which caused landslides
and widespread damage in coastal areas. Despite help provided by many agencies,
including the Church, the reconstruction is far from complete and many are still in
temporary shelter. Pray for those involved in the reconstruction work, for the authorities
who have the power to address this situation, and for all who continue to suffer.
