Next Saturday people from parishes across the Diocese will gather in Worcester to be
inspired, encouraged and resourced in their Kingdom People journey.
The plan for the day is to model different ways of being Kingdom People with practical
ideas that can be used when participants return to their own parishes. This includes a
ministry of hospitality with everyone eating breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea together,
provided completely free of charge courtesy of a gift from a charitable trust.
During the day, there will be the opportunity to hear about and try out ways of engaging
with your local area, including creative prayer ministry, fresh expressions, welcome
courses, discipleship and bible study. Across lots of different venues, there will be
‘have-a-go’ hands on sessions, creative opportunities, talks, a place of continuous
prayer, and special areas full of activity for children and young people.
We will be inspired by Mark Russell, CEO of the Church Army
and Canon of Worcester, and there will be lots of activities for
families of all ages, including a children’s tent, skate park and
climbing wall!
Please pray for all those involved in the
organisation of All Together and for all
those who will attend – that they will
return to their parishes refreshed and
inspired.
